10 TIPS FOR WELL BEING

ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture will reset the nervous system and restore a sense of dynamic balance and well being.

BREATHE

Mindful breathing can be a game changer. 5-2-5. Inhale thru your nose using a 5 second count - hold for 2 seconds and then exhale out of your mouth for 5 seconds. Do this 5 times.

CHOICE

Choose LOVE over FEAR! The story in your head is coming from a place of fear. When you hear it ask yourself, is this true? The story usually never is. Then act from that new feeling of love and self worth. This is a choice.

CONNECTION

Surround yourself with people you feel connection, not obligation.

DRINK WATER

Just drink more now! Add a lemon if you like. Ideal 1/2 body weight in ounces.

EAT

Nutrition is the #1 pillar of health. Choose not to overindulge too many days in a row.

MEDITATION

Even 2-5 minutes of quiet reflective time upon waking will change neural pathways for your day.

MOVE

Even 3 minutes in the morning when you get out of bed to ignite Yang energy. OR walk in nature when you can, it is a good re-set for body, mind & spirit.

SAY NO MORE OFTEN

A NO to anyone or any event is always a YES to yourself.

SELF-CARE

When we are fatigued or overwhelmed, slow down and make time for YOU! sleep massage, sauna, yoga or a cup of tea.

QUOTES

There is no prescription for finding moments of gratitude in every day; there is simply the choice.
— Gillian Deacon

Gratitude is much more than an attitude or mood – it is a powerful positive input to our mind-body system that leads to increased physical and psychological well-being.

Grateful thoughts and meditative states don’t just stay in your mind. Messenger molecules instantly transmit their effects to the body’s 100 trillion cells, creating new brain cells and new pathways and brain patterns. The practice of gratitude has even been found to change our gene expression in a positive direction.

By directing our awareness toward gratitude, our entire mind-body system is automatically oriented toward greater health and balance.

You will never accept gratitude as a solution to your problems, until you have reached acceptance.
— Shannon L. Alder

Living from your higher self means your sense of identity is rooted in your inner awareness rather than your separate self, or ego, which is oriented toward objects of perception.

The higher self is who we are. It is our self-awareness and so it is always with us. The reward of the higher self is a life liberated from the demands, fears, and limitations of the separate self or ego mind. Practicing gratitude and appreciation helps to keep awareness aligned to the higher self because we remain focused on the unifying and uplifting qualities of consciousness, instead of allowing attention to get trapped in differences.

The more you are grateful for what you have, the more you can live fully in the present.
— Dana Arcuri

When we offer the world our gratitude, grace responds and completes the circle. Our inner and outer worlds merge into one harmonious flow of existence.

As we use our gratitude to join this awakening of joy and beauty around us, we also find that our life becomes easier, more fun, and more meaningful. This nurturing power of grace comes from the source of Being which sustains everyone and everything in the universe. As human beings we can consciously choose to step into this flow of grace to enrich and elevate our lives.
